On February 2, the Senate Judiciary Committee had a hearing on “The Failures and Future of the EB-5 Regional Center Program: Can it be Fixed?”
Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Patrick Leahy (D-VT) submitted statements.
Two witnesses were called: Nicholas Colucci, Chief, Immigrant Investor Program, at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services; and Stephen L. Cohen, Associate Director, Division of Enforcement, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
