Another Chinese Student Killed at Univ. of Southern California

Univ. of Southern CaliforniaXinran Ji, age 24, was recently killed near his USC apartment. Just two years ago, two other Chinese students at USC were gunned down near campus. Forty percent of USC’s international student body comes from China. And the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles issued a statement asking authorities to take more measures to protect them.

Will this latest act of violence deter enrollment from Chinese students to USC? How can USC meet the consulate’s demands to make the campus safer?
